Vishnusahasranama Chapter 34

959. Pramanam- Prama means Prajnanam. Prajnanam Bhramam. Knowledge is Bhramam. So God Vishnu has name Pramanam.

960. Prananilayaha- Jeevan is pranan. Nilayam is home. God is Nilayam for Pranan . So God has name Prananilayaha.

961. Pranabrith- Pranamayam means Annamayam. God is Anna roopena bhakshanam. Prana pokshaka. So God is Pranabrith.

962. Praanajeevanaha- God provides jeevitham to Pranan. Jeevitham is  not due to prana-apanam(breathing-eating) but it is due to Paramathma-nimitham. Means, God is the reason for Life. So God is Praanajeevanaha.

963. Thathvam- Bhagavan should be meditated upon by Bhrama, means Thathvam. So God has name Thathvam.

964. Thathvavith- Thathva knower is also God. So God has name Thathvavith.

965. Ekaathma- 1000nama is there for God, but God is one. So God has name Ekaathma.

966. Janmamrithyujarathikaha- Birth, death , old-age are winned by God. So God is Janmamrithyujarathikaha.

967. Bhoorbhuvaswastharuhu- Bhooho,Bhuva, Swahaha, tharuhu. Pathalam, Earth, Swarga, and Tree-carrying this three, all this four things is God. So God is Bhoorbhuvaswastharuhu.

968. Thaaraha- Bhakthas are uplifted from Samsarasamudara So Thaaraha . Also Thaaramanthram is Pranavamanthram. So also Thaaraha.

969. Savithaa- Prasavitha of whole world. Also Pithrusthanam of whole world. So Savithaa.

970. Prapithaamahaha- World's Pithamaha is Bhrama. God is Pithamaha of Bhrama . So Prapithaamahaha.

971. Yagnaha- God is Yagnya. Yagna swaroopam is also God.So Yagnyaha.

972. Yagnapathihi- Natha of Yagna. Bhoktha and Prabhu of Yagnya. So Yagnapathihi.

973. Yajva- Yajamanan of yagnyam. So Yajva.

974. Yagnyaamgaha- God's body is things needed for Yagnya. Also In Yagnyavaraha  avatharam devas praised God as Yagnyavarahamoorthi  because God lifted earth with his nose . Nose is a body part, also called Yagnyaamgam. So God is Yagnaamgaha.

975. Yagnavahanaha- Carrier of yagnyas. Swarga phalam is got from Yagnyaha. This phalam, is carried out by God. So God is Yagnyavahanaha.

976. Yagnyabrith-God is the Ruler for Yagnya. So Yagnyabrith.

977. Yagnyakrith- First, Yagnya is started by God. God is Bhrama. Last Yagnya is Ended by God.So Yagnya is a Nikshiptha Duety, it is a swadarma of God and all, Also we are bounded to do this. So God is Yagnyakrith.

978. Yagnee- Main source of eeswaraha aaradhana is Yagnya. So God is Yagnee.

979. Yagnyabhuk- Eater of Yagnya havis in the form of receiver(intended yagnyamoorthy). So Yagnyabhuk.

980. Yagnyasadanaha- Wish satisfaction happens by Yagnya. Our wish is satisfied by Yagnya. So God is Yagnyasadanaha.

981. Yagnaanthakrith-God is End of Yagnyam. Doer of yagnyaprapthi. So Yagnaanthakrith.

982. Yagnyaguhyam- Secret Yagnya is Jnana-Yagnyam. God should be reached at the end of Yagnya. So God is Yagnyaguhyam.

983. Annam- Annam is cooked rice . This Annam is Kaarana roopam of God. So God is Annam . 

984. Annadaha- Kaarya roopa Annam is eaten by God, in the end of Yagnya. Anna is food.  Aadaha is eating. So God is Annadaha.

985. Aathmayonihi- God himself is responsible for his creation . So God is Aathmayonihi.

986. Swayamjaathaha- God is born himself from his own . God has his own reasons for birth. So God is Swayamjaathaha.

987. Vaikhaanaha- Khaana means boring deep into earth. Earth is bored deep underground and asuran- Hiranyaksha is killed in Varaha avathara of God. So God has name Vaikhaanaha.

988. Saamagayanaha- In Yaga udgada sings (sama)slowly. This Udgada is God . So God has name Saamagayanaha.

989. Devakinandanaha- Son of Devaki. Ananda provider for Devaki in Krishna avatharam. So God has name Devakinandanaha.

990. Srashta- God is Creater of all worlds. God is even the creater of this Earth. So God is Srashta.

991. Kshitheeshaha- Kshithi means Earth. Eesha means king. God is Earth's Eesha. Also in Sreerama Avathara, God is Raja of Earth. So Kshitheeshaha.

992. Paapanaashanaha-God kills all Papa's of his true Dhyana-Bhakthas. Shruthi vakyam:- 15 days Upasana papam is killed in 100 pranayamam. 1000 pranayamam papam is killed by kshana-mathra bhagavat dhyanam. So God is Paapanaashanaha.

993. Shangabrith- Anthakaranam Ahankaram indicates this Counch panchachanya. God is Shanga holder. So the name Shangabrith.

994. Nandaki- Nandakam is a weapon Sword. Sword indicates Vidya. God is Holder of Nandaki. So God is Nandaki.

995. Chakree- Manas indicates sudarshan chakra. God is holder of this Sudarshan chakra. So God has name Chakree.

996. Shaarngadhanva- Indriyams are indicated by Bow-arrows. God holds  Bow-arrows. So God is Shaarngadhanva.

997. Gadaadaraha- Bhudhi is indicated by Kaumodaki Gadha. God holds this Gadha. So God is Gadaadaraha.

998. Radhaangapaanihi- Radhaangam is Chakram. God is the holder of this Radha chakra in Hand . So God is Radhaangapaanihi.

999. Akshobyaha- Never getting angry. God acts anger. But God is never Angry. Actually his Narasimha avatharam is act of God's anger, says Meppathur Bhattathiripad. So God is Akshobhyaha.

1000. Sarvaprahanaayudaha- Except all this four weapons, (shangu,chakra,gadaa,valu)

Hiranyaksha is killed by Gods thumb finger of leg. Hiranyakashipu is killed by God's hand nails. So God has name Sarvaprahanaayudaha. 

1001. Sarvaprahanaayudaha Om nama ithi- Means,Omkaram mahamanthra is repeated again . And it is the Mangala vachakam .
